Green tea (sencha) and a couple of dainties at the tea house at the old Kyoto castle. The sweets are a sweet potato cake (left) and a sharon fruit (persimmon) mochi, provided with a pointy stick to pick them up! They were excellent, as was the tea, though I had to make it myself, and made my first drink a little too strong. And the gardens it overlooked were spectacular, even with the work going on for the Olympics.
