Matcha and KINKAKU

Properly prepared matcha with a slight froth on top, and of the highest quality. Served with a single pressed sugar sweet, exclusive to the temple (it says) of pressed sugar filled with red bean and REAL gold leaf on top. And strangely the gold makes all the difference to the taste. The tea house itself was really nice too, though you had to sit Japanese style (cross legged). All in all a very pleasant experience!
