Something I hadn’t come across before, so I gave it a go. Ume is the picked plum (purple bit); Shiso is apparently some kind of leaf (the green bit). A different taste, fresh and sharp, like sweet pickled grass. Couldn't widely recommend it for everyone, but if you want to go for a distinctly different taste, this is a good choice. I wouldn’t order it too often myself but probably would do it again.
