Dango are fantastic chewy little balls of rice flour, like nothing in the western world. The best comparison I can come up with is to describe them like toffee made of carbohydrates. This particular type of dango (goma dango) come with a sweet glaze and coated in sesame seeds, adding new flavours to a new texture, and topped off with the hot green tea, this the perfect basic snack for watching flowers in the plum garden.
