Lotus Root Chips

Deep-fried Lotus Root Chips with Plum seasoning.

These were REALLY good, but you need to eat them quickly and hot: They go greasy and soggy quite fast. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get them: You Should! Though next time I do, I won't get them with plum seasoning. They are quite sweet on their own, milder than sweet potato, but in some ways similar. And as a result, having the plum season make them quickly too rich to eat. Bottom line, they were great. My choices took some of the pleasure away.
