I found one of the few none Gin shots in a shop of over 400 Gins. Hyperbole and funky glasses aside, I asked for the Genever, because It is a much more mild taste than Gin. I always find Gin quite bitter and it's rarely made better by adding tonic water. Maybe its because I've never had malaria that it doesn't seem a problem, but this mixer was quite sweet and tasty on its own. Incredibly, adding the Genever and Soda together balanced them out so well the flavours became so subtle that it was a genuine pleasure to sip.
Recommendation:
Try both Geneva and the Double Dutch, together, but also separately. It's worth it to see what you think.
